OH WOW!

Big updates in this shindig. First of all - Omni Update: Brian Dillon had an amazing night at the Nuyorican Grand Slam, only losing by .2 to Ken Arkind to become the 2010 Nuyorican Grand Slam Champion. The next week, he came even closer only losing by .1 to Jared Singer to make a slot on the Nuyo team. Big-Ups to Megan Falley for also competing in the same Nuyorican run-off! This past Saturday though, Omni finally received the honors he deserves, as he became a member of the 2010 Urbana Poetry Slam team!

We also have an Intangible in the next two Nuyorican run-offs coming up - May 14th is James Merenda and May 21st is Caroline Rothstein. Please go show them mega love!

WRITING BLOODY

Congratulations to the amazing Megan Falley who just became a finalist in the 2010 Write Bloody author selection. She made the cut of 24 authors out of 330 manuscript submissions! This is the same publishing deal Sierra received last year and we are thrilled to see another Intangible make the cut this year. To celebrate, we have just locked Megan in a cellar and will not let her see the light of day until she completes her full 40 poem manuscript for final submission. We love you Meg!!!
